3 Easy Juice Detox Recipes to Try at Home

Three colourful, beginner-friendly juice recipes inspired by our holistic JuiceDetox programme — fresh, simple and easy to make at home.

Want to discover what a juice detox recipe can actually taste like? You do not need complicated ingredients to make fresh, colourful juice at home.

Below are three simple recipes that show how varied juicing can be: a crisp green juice, a bright carrot-orange blend and an earthy beetroot juice.

In our complete 7-day holistic JuiceDetox programme, you prepare six juice recipes per day alongside daily meditation, 45 minutes of exercise and guided journaling. These three recipes are examples to inspire you and help you become familiar with making fresh juice.

Juicing removes much of the fibre naturally present in whole fruits and vegetables, so fresh juice should not replace a balanced long-term diet. Think of these recipes as part of a varied, conscious approach to food and wellbeing.

1. Fresh Green Reset

A crisp green juice recipe is a great place to start if you are new to juicing. Cucumber and celery create a fresh base, apple adds natural sweetness and lemon and ginger give it a bright finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 1 green apple
  • ½ lemon, peeled
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger

Method

Wash everything thoroughly. Cut larger ingredients to fit your juicer. Juice the cucumber, celery, spinach, apple, lemon and ginger, then stir before drinking.

Flavour: fresh, green, lightly sweet and zingy.

2. Golden Morning Glow

This vibrant carrot juice recipe combines naturally sweet carrot and orange with lemon, ginger and turmeric. It is bright, warming and full of colour.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium carrots
  • 2 oranges, peeled
  • ½ lemon, peeled
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger
  • 1 small piece fresh turmeric

Method

Wash the carrots, ginger and turmeric. Peel the citrus and cut everything to fit your juicer. Juice all ingredients and stir well.

Flavour: naturally sweet, citrusy and slightly spicy.

3. Ruby Root Recharge

Beetroot gives this detox juice recipe its deep ruby colour. Apple and orange balance its earthy flavour, while cucumber keeps it fresh and ginger adds a little kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium beetroot
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 apples
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • ½ lemon, peeled
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger

Method

Wash the produce thoroughly. Peel the orange and lemon and cut larger ingredients into juicer-sized pieces. Juice everything, stir and serve fresh.

Flavour: earthy, fruity, fresh and slightly spicy.

Good juice recipes are not about making every drink taste the same. Variety in colour, flavour and ingredients is part of the experience.

Understanding what a juice detox is is only the beginning. A well-planned juice cleanse also involves knowing how the programme works, what benefits you can realistically expect, how to prepare and how to return to normal meals afterwards.

A juice detox is best viewed as a short, conscious reset rather than a miracle treatment. The goal is to create space to notice your habits, simplify your food choices and build a healthier routine that can continue after the cleanse itself.
